myflexbox opens its 1,000th parcel station in Germany

STAR Capital Partnership LLP portfolio company myflexbox, a leading provider of provider open parcel locker infrastructure across the DACH region, launched its partnership with MediaMarktSaturn last month by opening its 1,000th parcel station in Germany, strengthening last mile convenience while helping to reduce delivery traffic and emissions.

  • With more than 1,700 parcel stations across the DACH region, myflexbox is demonstrating how open, neutral, scalable infrastructure can deliver real on the ground impact
  • Its multi carrier services in Germany for DPD Deutschland, UPS, GLS Germany GmbH & Co. OHG and FedEx allow customers to pick up, send, and return parcels via a single, user-friendly station, enhancing the last-mile experience while offering efficiency gains to the courier
  • By shortening distances, improving the parcel to stop ratio, and cutting delivery traffic, alongside a growing number of solar-powered lockers, the model supports lowering CO₂ and shows how neutral infrastructure can make a practical difference at street level
