V.Group acquires Njord to strengthen decarbonisation offering

STAR Capital Partnership LLP portfolio company V.Group, the leading global ship manager and marine services provider, has acquired Njord, the maritime fuel efficiency and decarbonisation partner, founded by Maersk Tankers. This acquisition marks a further expansion of V.’s fuel efficiency and decarbonisation ecosystem of technical expertise, experience and innovative technology.

The acquisition enhances V.'s ability to deliver value to shipowners and charterers by combining V.’s existing expertise in compliance and operational efficiency with Njord's advanced systems and technology integration experience.

Njord will become the primary decarbonisation brand in the V. Portfolio. Njord will integrate closely with V.’s wider marine services platform to create a connected, end-to-end decarbonisation and efficiency offering.
